The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Additional Education "Federal Center for Additional Education and Recreation and Recreation for Children" is a resource center for the development of additional education for children of natural science, technical, tourism and local lore directions, as well as the field of recreation and recreation for children.

The task of the center is to identify and develop the talents of children and youth. Since 2021, the institution has been the operator of the creation of new places of additional education in all directions.

The Center coordinates a network of 135 "Quantoriums", 86 mobile technology parks, 71 "IT–cube" centers, 30 "DNA" centers ("House of Scientific Collaboration"), 55 regional Eco-stations and dozens of regional resource centers.
