Environmental classes for schoolchildren were conducted by employees of the interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor in the Rostov region and the Republic of Kalmykia. The lectures and quizzes on the topic of nature protection were attended by children from the 11th Rostov Lyceum, the 1st school of the Aksai district, 54 schools, 75 schools named after the three-time Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal Kozhedub I.N., as well as from the Elista Classical Gymnasium, the Kalmyk National Gymnasium named after Anatoly Kichikov and the Elista multidisciplinary gymnasium of personality-oriented education education.

The inspectors told the children about why it is important to sort waste and take care of nature, how to reuse resources. The students learned that each person produces about 400 kg of garbage per year and were convinced that everyone can make a feasible contribution to improving the environmental situation in their region.

Now schoolchildren will be able to realize their most creative and creative eco-ideas by participating in the 3rd season of the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business"!
