The Institute of Ecology of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia has accepted Samir Iskakov, a prize–winner of the Ecology is Everyone's Business award, for a budget place. This was announced by the initiator of the award, the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management Svetlana Radionova. Thanks to agreements with several Russian universities, project participants receive additional points upon admission or the opportunity to study for free.

Svetlana Radionova congratulated Samir Iskakov, the winner of the Ecology is Everyone's Business award, on entering a budget place at one of the best universities – the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The head of Rosprirodnadzor stressed that participation in the Award gives young people a chance to get a better education, build a future career and become involved in the implementation of the national development goals of the country.

"The award "Ecology is everyone's business" gave an important start in the life of a graduate from the Saratov region. Thanks to participation in the competition and our agreements with universities, Samir Iskakov received a unique opportunity to study for free at the Institute of Ecology of the RUDN in the direction of "Energy and resource-saving processes in chemical technology, petrochemistry and biotechnology". This chance can be given to anyone who presents the best project for environmental protection to our Award," said Svetlana Radionova, head of Rosprirodnadzor.

She thanked the Rector of the RUDN Oleg Yastrebov and the Director of the Institute of Ecology Elena Savenkova for supporting the Award and its participants. Samir Iskakov from the city of Balakovo, Saratov region received a special prize following the results of the second season of the Award for his eco-project. He created a special container for collecting batteries – bright, attention-grabbing, containing all the information necessary for users. The young ecologist previously became the winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad of schoolchildren in technology, the winner of the final stage of the All-Russian competition of research and design works "Aerobatics" in the direction of "Technical and Engineering Sciences".  Samir is interested in both ecology and design, as well as programming and French.

"We offer young people to get a free place in our university for achievements in the Ecology is Everyone's Business award. This is how we support the desire of young people to do more for the ecological well-being of the country. RUDN actively participates in the implementation of important educational and educational projects, opens its doors to purposeful and dedicated future professionals of the chosen profession. This year, the Prize winner Samir Iskakov was able to get not just the right to free education, but to enroll in a budget form of education," Oleg Yastrebov said. According to the rector of the RUDN, a new student is planned to be given priority right to a dormitory.

"It's just unbelievable! My dream has come true! I wanted to enroll in this particular direction! When I created my eco-project, I couldn't even imagine what would come of it. I am very grateful to the Ecology is Everyone's Business Award and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. I will try to justify their faith in me, I will do everything possible to ensure that environmental protection is based on the introduction of new ideas and technologies, effective solutions and innovations," said Samir Iskakov.

Winners, prize–winners and participants of the Ecology is Everyone's Business award can take advantage of their achievements in the field of environmental protection and receive additional points upon admission or the right to free tuition at five higher educational institutions in Russia. These are the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the Northeastern Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov, the National Research Tomsk State University, the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. According to the initiator of the Award Svetlana Radionova, negotiations are underway on a similar agreement with other Russian universities.
