In 2022, schoolchildren from the Novosibirsk Region submitted 2,168 applications to participate in the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is everyone's business". Last year there were only 160 of them. According to the number of applications, the region was in 4th place.

Employees of the Siberian Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor held a solemn presentation of prizes and gifts to the guys whose works the jury of the Award named among the best.

Rodion Trunov (13 years old) took second place in the nomination "Ecoproject" for the development of benches with built-in pedals, when scrolling which you can generate electricity needed to charge mobile phones.

The volunteer project "Cheerful Siberians" from Novosibirsk was awarded for the "Good Flower" campaign, and Mikhail Stemkovsky (14 years old) sent a video "A healthy planet shines and breathes purity, and anyone of us can clean it." For their works, the authors were among the Prize winners.

In addition, 10 children from the Novosibirsk region were awarded special prizes, as well as 11 schools that were included in the 100 most active schools by the number of applications received for the Award.

Sergey Semka, Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Evgeny Shesternin, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Novosibirsk Region, and Maria Sidorova, Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee of the Novosibirsk City Hall, came to greet and congratulate the winners and prize-winners.
