The New Year's beauty appeared in one of the schools of Komi thanks to the "Ball of Desires"

Ksenia Yezhova, a young resident of the village of Nosul in the Priluzsky district of the Komi Republic, took part in the Marathon of Kindness "Ball of Desires" and asked for a large spruce made of artificial materials for her school.

Ksenia is very concerned about the annual felling of trees for the New Year holidays. Every year, a 4-meter tall live spruce was cut down for the school. Ksenia really wanted to save the trees and put a fluffy Christmas tree in the school, which will last for many years.

Islamudin Astarkhanov, head of the Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor for the Komi Republic and the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, responded to fulfill the dream of a novice ecologist.

The New Year's beauty was delivered and installed at the school. High school students and their teachers helped to collect the spruce. During the festive lesson, Rosprirodnadzor employees told the children about ways to take care of the environment and about participating in the Ecology is Everyone's Business award.

Congratulations to Ksenia and her entire school on the upcoming New Year. May the kindest dreams come true!
