The V.I. Vernadsky Non-governmental Environmental Foundation supported the International Children's and Youth Award "Ecology is Everyone's Business".

The V.I. Vernadsky Foundation has been making a significant contribution for 27 years to the formation of a responsible attitude of society to the surrounding world, the natural and cultural heritage of Russia, the development of a system of continuous environmental education, supports initiatives in the field of environmental volunteering, conducts information and educational work, implements socially significant projects aimed at achieving the goals of sustainable development of society.

The Foundation is one of the most well-known environmental non-governmental organizations in our country and in the international arena, has consultative status with UNESCO, the UN Economic and Social Council, and is an observer organization of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference.
